The continuous growth of tourism, commercial and housing development has resulted in an obsolete system of aqueducts and sewers. This situation increases the State's interest in establishing a modern system with a long run projection for the Country’s future development.

In this sense, CUSA has maintained an active participation in the construction of water treatment plants, sewage treatment plants (WWTP), and drinking water supply systems, as well as in the installation of wastewater collectors.
